The EMOSAFE EN-95 network isolator is used for the galvanic decoupling of copper-based Ethernet connections and for the suppression of interference pulses on these lines. Because of the special area of application, it fulfills the design requirements of DIN EN 50155 and can therefore also be used in general industrial environments.

With the EMOSAFE EN-95, EMO Systems GmbH, Berlin has developed a gigabit network isolator that is specifically intended for use in electronic devices in rail vehicle construction and therefore meets the design requirements of DIN EN 50155. It is used for the galvanic decoupling of copper-based Ethernet connections and to suppress interference pulses on these lines. Thanks to the selected transmission principle, no additional power supply or software is required. On the basis of the transformer technology used for many years by EMO Systems GmbH for applications in medical technology, excellent transmission values are achieved, which even allow the assignment of a permanent link with inserted network isolator to Class D if the line components of the components used are adequate.

Additional TVS diodes also protect against interference pulses that are scattered in via individual pairs of the Ethernet connection. The M12x sockets common in the industrial environment serve as an interface, so that it can also be used in other areas. Base and top hat rail adapter are available as accessories.
